TREVI ICOS RECEIVES THE 2008 SAFETY AWARD BY THE US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS

04 Dec 2008

Cesena, 4 December 2008 – Trevi Icos Corporation, the US subsidiary of Trevi Group, recently received the “Kansas City District FY-08 Safety Saves Large Contractor Award” an important safety award given by the US Army Corps of Engineers. This important recognition, for a complete year without safety incidents, relates to the consolidation work on the Tuttle Creek Dam, which Trevi Icos has been carrying out since 2006.

It is a complex project and the US Army Corps of Engineers of the Kansas City district has particularly appreciated – as noted in the official citation – the high safety standards of Trevi Icos, “the result of highly attentive and focused management”. Following the award given to Trevis Icos, which was named as an organisational model to be followed, the local detachment of the US Army Corps of Engineers, represented by Kathy Lust (COE Contracting Office Representative) and Geoffrey Henggeler (COE Project Engineer), were honoured with an award for safety in the work environment.
