THE HONG KONG-ZHUHAI-MACAO BRIDGE WAS OPENED

25 Oct 2018

Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuai have recently been connected by a series of structures that guarantee a direct link between the east and west banks of Pearl River.
In this project a key role is carried out by the longest bridge in the world (on sea), started in 2009 and opened a few days ago.
Trevi Hong Kong has participated in the stabilization of the artificial island, which is essential for the realization of the project, performing 450 columns of jet grouting (ø1.2÷3m, with depth up to 35 m), in only two and a half months to an average of 8 columns a day!
In order to achieve this work Trevi Hong Kong used 5 Soilmec High Pressure Pumps (4 7T-600J and 1 7T-505) and 6 Soilmec SM-20 hydraulic drilling rigs.
